Fez gets cold, so come prepared. The place is beautiful and easy to find, in a great spot in the old city. Moufid was so knowledgeable and helpful, explaining the area and arranging tours, and he can set up trips to all kinds of places. His soup and mint tea were amazing too.

The pool was a huge bonus, and my kids loved it. We had a flawless stay, and I'm already hoping to return next spring since we only booked one night. The host was kind, friendly, and quick to respond, and even moved me to a better room at no extra cost. The room didn't have an outside-facing window, which I think was due to the terrain, but the interior window let in enough light and air. I was genuinely surprised to see any negative reviews.

Moufit is what made this stay feel so personal. He greeted us warmly, looked after us with real care, and gave thoughtful advice. We felt at home, almost like family, rather than simply being guests. The Riad itself is beautiful, elegant, and full of charm. If you want more than just a room and want to feel well cared for, this is a lovely choice. Moufit will win you over. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was a lovely way to start the day: fresh local bread, a chirping bird, Moroccan music, and a fountain in the background. We had one of the large ground-floor rooms and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The riad is within walking distance of the Medina's food area and the restored section by UNESCO. It might be noisier in high season, but there were only a couple of other guests in the other big room while we were there. Most of all, Moufid deserves a big compliment. He speaks English and made us feel at home, introduced us to the riad, and gave us simple directions for finding our way through Fez's little streets. He even spoke with the taxi from the train station and arranged an excellent local guide, Mohamed. When we arrived late, he personally showed us where to get an affordable quick meal, and did that more than once.
