Riad Joy

The best part of our surprise weekend getaway was discovering this riad. Mohamed and Rajae made us feel at home from the welcome mint tea onward, and the whole team was kind, attentive, and caring. When we arrived in the rain, staff came to meet us right where the taxi dropped us off and helped us reach the riad, which we really appreciated. Everyone speaks excellent English and French, so it was easy to communicate. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and full of charm, and the whole stay felt like a genuine, top-quality riad experience. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and generous, served with so much care. The hammam was unforgettable, relaxing, and authentic, a perfect way to end the day. We don’t have enough words to thank them for their hospitality. We’d come back again and again, and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Fes. 🙏

The food was outstanding, both breakfasts and the dinner we had, and service was impeccable. Staff were extremely attentive, and the riad is well located in the Medina. It has recently been painstakingly renovated from top to bottom. It looks brand new while keeping its historic feel, with top notch workmanship and furnishings of the highest quality. I can’t think of even a tiny criticism. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

It’s beautiful and new, only 3.months old, with very friendly staff who were attentive throughout our two nights and one day there. Breakfast was great. It’s a lovely place to stay, and I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in Fes. They also offered laundry service. We didn’t use it, but I’m sure it would have been great.

The location was perfect, and my room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Mohammed and Karim welcomed me warmly. Karim said the people working there were like family, and it was clear from the start that he meant it. Zachariah and Omar were so helpful and friendly throughout my stay, and their manager, Raja, was kind and checked in from time to time to make sure I had what I needed. My first Hammam here was a wonderful experience. The woman who gave it only spoke French and I only speak English, but we managed to communicate well with very few words and friendly smiles. Everyone was happy to help me learn some Darija, and I so enjoyed talking with them. They became good friends, and I’ll miss them. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return to Fes.
