Riad Sidi

After a month and a half traveling around Morocco, we arrived feeling pretty tired. Riad Sidi gave us a quiet, safe place to settle in, and we really enjoyed our week there. The staff were kind and caring, especially Mohammed, whose cheerfulness and sincerity we’ll remember. Shukran! We loved the spotlessly clean rooms, beautiful design, large comfortable bed, and excellent modern bathroom and shower. It was easy to get to the medina, but cars could also reach the riad, which made unloading luggage convenient. The rooftop was nice, and we had a delicious Fes speciality for dinner there one night. Breakfast was wonderful, with different items each day.

The owners were incredibly welcoming and offered to help with anything we needed. The rooftop, where breakfast is served, looks out over the whole Medina, and you can also have a glass of wine or beer there at night. The riad is close to the Center of the Medina. Its immediate surroundings look rustic, but don’t let that put you off. It’s a hidden gem!

The riad was clean and charming, with authentic Moroccan character, and the food was delicious. It’s in a great location and has a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

You can walk to the main attractions, while the tucked-away location stays tranquil. I highly recommend Riad Sidi for a first or return visit to Fez. It feels like an authentic Moroccan experience and a home away from home.
