Riad Timrad

After a full day exploring the medina, the rooftop was a lovely place to relax. The riad has an authentic Moroccan feel, with thoughtful decor, and everything is very well kept. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and attentive, and Ali was happy to share local tips on places to eat and visit. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is quiet but close to the main attractions. We also loved the private hammam, especially suited to a couple. 10/10 experience ⭐️

We had breakfast on the rooftop and in the riad’s main area, with fresh fruit, warm local breads, and wide views of the Medina waking up below. The staff made a real effort every day, arranging transfers, sharing local recommendations, and greeting us with a smile. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of character, and the design blends traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with modern comfort. Ali, the owner, is intriguing, very kind, and was there for us throughout the stay. From our warm welcome onward, we felt at home. Riad Dar Timrad in Fez made for an unforgettable visit, and we’d absolutely come back.

We stayed in the top room with three adults, and it was just right for us. It sleeps up to four and opens directly onto the rooftop terrace, where there’s a jacuzzi and a great place to unwind. The rooms are attractive and well maintained, with excellent sanitary facilities. The riad is on a quiet street in the Medina, about a seven-minute walk from the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was well prepared and enjoyable. Be aware that the stone stairs to the floors and rooftop are narrow, so climbing them is a bit of a workout. Parking is about a ten-minute walk away and manageable. We had a fantastic stay and recommend it for comfort, hospitality, and an authentic location in Fes (Fez).

After a long drive from the desert, the tea and baked goods we were served as soon as we arrived were very welcome. The staff’s kindness and guidance really lifted our stay, especially Houssam and Ali. Breakfast had a nice variety and was delicious. The restored and decorated Riad is beautiful, on the edge of the Fes Medina, and the rooftop has seating areas and a small pool overlooking the Medina. I also tried the hammam and strongly recommend it. We felt at home right away.
