The rooms were large, clean, and nice, with clean linens. The pool and outdoor chairs were nice too. But the shower head was broken, the sink drained poorly, and there was no water or coffee in the room. The food was below average. I appreciated having made-to-order eggs one morning, but they weren’t available the second day. At checkout, the front desk asked me to pay 20 Dirham for water charged to my room. I hadn’t ordered any, and the receipt someone signed for it clearly wasn’t in my name. The staff member was rude and insisted I was responsible because someone had given them my room number. I’m not rushing back, though it was fine for sleeping and might be better in warmer weather when you can use the pool.

Lima made my mum’s birthday feel so special. She decorated the dinner table with a lovely heart made from rose petals from their garden, brought us a delicious gateau, and sang happy birthday with the whole kitchen staff. Thank you so much for celebrating with us and taking such good care of us. The service was lovely.

We came as part of an Exotica tour group and even offered to pay extra for better accommodation. I can’t believe how bad the experience was. Our room was large, and at least we slept well, but there was no water provided in the room, you had to pay for it. The buffet dinner was a mess. People were everywhere, about 95% of the empty tables were dirty, and we had to clean one ourselves and borrow cutlery from other tables. The food was cold, bland, and sad. Breakfast was even worse, with no fruit despite it being orange and strawberry season, and everything was cold and below par. Dinner was gross again the next night, and breakfast disappointed again. I’d been told they had the best goat cheese, but there was none to be found. After our morning shower, we put the towels on the floor because we like fresh ones on vacation. When we returned, the patio door was open and the towels had been hung out to dry, then put back on the rack instead of replaced. We had to use them to wipe water off the floor, then ask for fresh towels. We arrived at 7:30 PM, and one more night was enough. Don’t book here, and if this hotel is on your tour, ask to change it before you arrive.

The restaurant staff were professional, hospitable, and accommodating, and Fatima, Khadija, Moad, Hind, the Restaurant manager, and all the kitchen and serving staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They could only work with the facilities they were given, though, and those were lacking. We stayed two nights, and on the first, another guest disturbed us in our adjoining room. We couldn’t sleep until 5 am. We called reception three times, but they didn’t respond promptly. For a hotel meant to be luxury, it felt very old and dated, and there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
