The maintenance and internet were major problems during my six-night stay. The showerhead was loose and came detached, while the door lock didn’t work at first, so we had to fix it ourselves with a screwdriver. Wi-Fi had been a key reason I chose the place, but there was no internet. When I raised it, the staff argued with me, and it took a few days before they provided access. The woman who handed over the keys blocked my messages after I confronted her about what I saw as her dishonesty. There was also confusion about which residence I had booked. The advertisement said Residence Chellah, but I was given Residence Rizq on Chellah street. There is a separate Residence Chellah, so this felt misleading and was disappointing. The key handover was poorly coordinated too: the person arrived 45 minutes later than the agreed 6-7 PM time. Hygiene was below standard, and I became ill several times during the stay. One morning I woke up without a voice, which made me question the cleanliness. I had thought well of Morocco, but the service at Residence Rizq has affected that impression.
