The tajines tasted good, and the place looked really nice. But when we went to pay for dinner, the owner showed us the amount on his calculator, then acted as though he’d made a mistake and added 100 dirham to the total. I paid, but looking back, it was far too much. He seemed nice, but we were ripped off.

The new owner, Alaedine, took us in and provided accommodation and food, even though the situation was awful. We’re grateful, since otherwise we would have been left homeless. My boyfriend and I had booked with the previous owner back in September to spend Christmas at this beautiful place. When we arrived, the new owner had no record of us and hadn’t been paid. It seemed the previous owner had run away without settling the accounts.

The tall guy who takes care of everything is a scammer. I paid 25 dirhams for one Moroccan tea, but he brought two cups, one for me and one for my partner, then charged us 25 for each cup 😱😱. We’d paid for the food and everything, and after a long day we got back to the hotel at night expecting something to eat, but there was nothing.

The team are welcoming, passionate, and happy to help, whether you need ride suggestions, bike repairs, or anything to make your stay nicer. Breakfast is generous and fresh, just what you want to start the day. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with what you need for a pleasant stay. Piccolo Bike Hotel Marrakech has a relaxed atmosphere, a warm modern look with a Moroccan touch, and a friendly feel. It’s a distinctive spot for cycling fans as well as travelers after calm and authenticity.
