A good place to stay for a Sahara experience, with welcoming staff and delicious tagine. They know the area well.

At first things seemed fine. They offered us tea, and we took it as a kind gesture, though nobody had checked whether we wanted any. The next day, breakfast was brought out without warning or asking if we wanted more. Booking.com showed €13.50 for three people, but they then said tea and breakfast had brought the price to €60. It felt like a rip-off. We tried to explain ourselves but couldn’t get through to them. After a difficult discussion, we got it down to €45. I don’t recommend staying here.

The Booking website listed a night for three people at €13.50, but when we were leaving they demanded €60. We couldn’t get them to understand us. It was a scam.
