Our tour group made the trip memorable, especially Anwar, who helped everything run smoothly despite our last-minute booking in the peak tourism season in mid July. We chose the short 2 nights package from Marrakech and wished we’d had time for a longer excursion. Insha Allah, next time we’ll plan ahead. I’m from Marrakech but live in USA, and when visiting home we’d never thought to take an excursion like this. I wish we’d done one a long time ago. Being Moroccan, I assumed I could manage it better myself, but I was wrong. A lot of planning goes into making these trips work, from transport, food and lodging to knowing the best spots to visit.

The staff were really friendly and kind, and the 2 nigths desert tour was fantastic. Sitting around the fire at night with berbere music was amazing. I strongly recommend Desert Vie.

The staff are amazing. It’s a lovely place way out in the middle of nowhere, and you need a 4wd car to drive there. The drive takes about 2/3 hours max.
