La Fattoria Ecolodge

The hotel’s location really added to the stay. I enjoyed the comfortable, elegantly furnished accommodations and the Moroccan dishes at the on-site restaurant, which were an absolute delight. The pool was a tranquil place to relax, and the staff’s exemplary hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

It’s a beautiful ecolodge where animals get a second chance. Everyone was friendly and treated both guests and animals with a lot of respect. The food was very nice, and it’s a lovely place to relax or try an activity like horseback riding. We’ll definitely visit again.

The setting is beautiful, with a nice landscape, and the location is the only good thing about this place. As a mindtraveller and someone who strongly supports ecolodges, I expected more from La Frattoria. An ecolodge should also help educate guests about preserving local flora and fauna, and I really missed that. In summer, Moroccan nights are extremely hot almost every day, but there was no energy-efficient lighting or effective way for guests to cope with the heat. I couldn’t sleep. The owner’s suggestion was to book a hotel instead of an ecolodge with continuous electricity, which seemed foolish and strange, especially for a place aiming to offer sustainable accommodation. It came across as arrogant and made me feel the owner didn’t care about guests. There was no kitchenware or refrigerator, and the showers only had cold water.

It was hard to find in the dark, but Ayoub was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. In the morning, we woke to an idyllic farm-like setting with tasteful decor and a tasty breakfast. Such a nice change from the chaos of Marrakech and Agadir. What a sanctuary.
