We booked a trip to their desert camp and had a great time there too, with good music, food, and a fun atmosphere. The camel rides gave us lovely views of the desert and sunset, and the camp staff were kind and friendly. Back at the hotel, the room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The pool was relaxing and open 24/7, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The food was tasty, and they were happy to consider meal requests if we asked in advance. I’d love to stay here again if I return to Morocco.

The camp itself was nice, and we met lots of people there. The staff at the camp were friendly, and we enjoyed the bonfire. But getting there was a frustrating start. We waited for an hour in a lobby full of flies and bugs, repeatedly asking when we could leave for camp and hearing “very soon” each time. The facilities at camp were also lacking. There wasn’t enough water to flush the toilet, so we had to wait a while, and there was no hot water for showers.

The whole camel trip in the Sahara was a great experience, including the night in a glamping style Berber camp. Many thanks to the hardworking staff.

The hotel was average, but our worst problem came when we sent our bags ahead by car to the desert camp. We were riding camels there, and one bag went missing. It had milk and organic snacks for my one-year-old, and the staff were slow and careless about trying to find it. There was nowhere in the desert to get those things, so we had to give our son the camp food, which he barely ate that day. If you’re going by camel, keep your valuables with you.
