I stayed for a week and found the place peaceful and really enjoyable. It’s right by the desert, so you can walk straight out into it, and camels often pass the front door, which is fun to see. There’s a kitchen guests can use to cook. I especially liked how Omar, the manager, looked after guests like family. He’s incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this hotel if you get the chance to visit Merzouga.
The terrace was my favorite spot for sunrise, sunset, or stargazing on a quiet evening. It’s right in front of the dunes, with lots of space, comfortable clean rooms, and a large, well-equipped kitchen where you can make your own food or order one of their delicious meals. The people running the place were caring and friendly, always ready to answer questions or chat.
For the price, this Kasbah was good value, especially in such an expensive tourist area. The staff were friendly and polite, and they treated me well. They picked me up in central Merzouga and took me to the bus station in the morning so I wouldn’t miss my bus. Since I had no time for breakfast, they gave me a vegetarian tajine the night before instead. It’s close to the dunes, just a short walk, and seemed like a very good option compared with the other hostels I saw while looking around.
Thank you, Omar. Kasbah la palmerai is a peaceful place with a lovely view of the dunes. The rooms are clean and nice, the food is delicious, and services are available.
We had a really good dinner here, and the rooms and pool were great too.
