The pool was a welcome escape from the desert heat, and the rooms are very nice. But the AC only moved the air around like a fan, without cooling it. After everyone went to bed, the breakers were switched off, supposedly because of a power outage. That stopped the AC, and we woke up soaked in sweat. We got the manager up, and he turned it back on, but it shut down again half an hour later. In the end we slept in the courtyard on blankets. The sky views were unbeatable, but my back still hurts. I wouldn't return even if they paid me.

A really lovely place, with a warm welcome and a nice pool. Barak is a great guy, and so is his whole family. We stayed overnight at the bivouac and went on a 4x4 trip in the desert. Just ask, and it seems they can arrange anything.

Tamariste is our regular stop whenever we're in Merzouga. The Kasbah sits right at the dunes, the staff are so friendly and speak perfect Spanish, and there's a pool. The soup and kefta were spectacular, too. Barak is a great friend.

The owners helped us arrange a tour of Morocco, which I highly recommend. The food was delicious and the service excellent. They even helped me repair my damaged suitcase. Best place in Morocco!
