Ksar Bicha

The pool was clean and cozy, and the food was good. My family and I stayed for two nights, and the staff were fantastic. Ibrahim made sure we had what we needed, and Farid was especially kind and gave excellent service. Hamou took us on a three-hour 4×4 ride; we really enjoyed his company and all he knew about the area. Thanks for making our time in Merzouga so much fun.

I stayed in one of the complex's “Berber tents.” It had a nice bed and plenty of blankets for the desert cold, plus its own bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. The dinner was delicious, and the Moroccan ngawa musicians were superb. I did have two problems: there was no hot water, and my toilet wouldn't flush.

The staff were the best part for me. They were so friendly that I felt at home, and they even let me stay in the hotel after checkout while I waited for my overnight bus in the heat. I spent three days here, and everything was great, especially the food. My favorite place to stay in Merzouga.

We booked a camel trip through the hotel to a Bivouac in the desert and enjoyed it so much. At Ksar Bicha, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and polite throughout our wonderful stay. The food was well prepared and served in a pleasant setting. The hotel and rooms were clean, neat, and stylish, with most of them made of clay. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Merzouga.
