The camel ride to the tent and 4X4 ride back made for a good experience, but our tent was old and run down, and I’m sure there are better ones. We were told there’d be hot water, but it only came out cold. The breakfast and dinner weren’t anything special.

The tent was lovely, and we enjoyed the dinner and music. But we were very surprised they wanted 60 euros to turn on the air conditioning when it was freezing in the desert. That extra charge wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, so it felt like a scam.

At (Noumidia Luxury Camp), the welcome felt warm and heartfelt from the start. You can see the care that goes into the place, from how the rooms are arranged to the service. The clean, organized rooms balance comfort with the desert setting, and the bathrooms are spotless and well looked after. The food was delicious, with generous portions, authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The staff were kind, smiling and always available, and made us feel like part of a big family. It’s more than somewhere to stay, it’s an experience in the heart of the Sahara. I highly recommend visiting (name of the village) if you want something real, emotional and deeply human. It will stay with you. Wishing the business and everyone working here all the best. You’re making the desert bloom with smiles, hospitality and heart.

Stay away! The manager was drunk and tried to keep us there against our will. It was the most horrible experience of my life, and the place felt super shady.

There were only six or eight rooms, which made the camp feel intimate compared with some others we saw. Ayoub and the whole team were incredible, warm, kind and generous. From arrival to departure, we loved the welcome, tents, dinner and breakfast. We spent the day on the dunes, then had drumming around the campfire and even a desert Christmas tree for the festive celebration. It was all fantastic. I think tour operators book most of the place, but if you can choose among the desert camps, you won’t be disappointed. They provide everyone with a warm Galobeya, which is welcome because it gets cold, plus plenty of blankets at this time of year. One small suggestion: offer hot water bottles to take to bed, or better yet, warm the beds before guests turn in.
