The reception staff were kind and changed the pillowcases for us when we found they were unclean. One of them smelled stale and had hair on it. The towels in the bathroom were clean, but the soap and shampoo were poor quality. Dust in most areas made the hotel feel even more outdated, and the flies in both the restaurant and rooms were annoying, adding to the impression that cleaning standards need attention. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel has a lot of potential. Dinner was okay and breakfast average.

The bedrooms are huge, and at first the place looked great, but that impression didn’t last. The shower barely worked, and the hot water tap just dribbled everywhere. We had no option but the buffet for dinner, along with a huge crowd of other guests, and breakfast was the same chaotic melee. The next day, 11 of our 12 group members had D&V. The rooms are okay, but don’t eat there.

The clay architecture and garden are stunning, and the hotel feels like an oasis in the desert. Our family’s favorite part was meeting Jihane, the henna artist. She made us beautiful henna tattoos, taught me a few local Arabic phrases, and kindly let everyone in our tour group take photos with her in her traditional Berbere dress. Thanks, Jihane, for making a lunch stop one of our favorite memories from Morocco!

We stopped for lunch at this beautiful hotel and restaurant. The food tasted just average.

At KASBAH Asmaa, the staff are wonderful, the room is good, and the restaurant is nice. The location is easy to reach and has parking. One of the best hotels in Midelt.
