L'Escale Suites Residence by 7AV Hotels

My wife slipped on water leaking near the toilet as soon as we entered the room, hurt her knees, and still has a swollen knee and pain. When I told reception what happened, there was no empathy. The receptionist asked whether we had turned on the water and splashed it ourselves. We were moved to a smaller room and told it was better, but it wasn't. They said a complaint would be filed, but nothing came of it. We asked to move again and were put back in the room with the leak, with assurances the water problem was gone. It was still there. They offered a mat and said it wasn't a plumbing issue, just shower wax without silicone. I'm a maintenance manager, and that isn't how I'd handle this kind of situation. Reception had a lot of attitude, and the other manager showed no concern, just brushed the whole thing off. I don't recommend this hotel because the customer service and empathy were so poor.

The bathroom smell was unpleasant throughout my stay, and the floor was often wet, which made me question the hygiene. There was visible leakage because the toilet pipe wasn't sealed properly. I reported it, and the hotel acknowledged the problem and said it would be fixed, but by then it had affected several nights. The room fell short of the standards I expected, and the stay was disappointing. One of my worst hotel experiences. I wouldn't recommend it based on what happened.

Chaymae and Oumayma made us feel welcome and looked after us so well. They also made extending our stay very smooth. We were in a clean, well-equipped room with fresh sheets and a cozy, warm feel. From the suite balcony, we had a lovely view over the pool and surrounding greenery. The residence is in a convenient, safe neighborhood, and we didn't worry about our car. Getting to Casablanca or Rabat was convenient, and the beach nearby had a great sunset view.

Tariq at reception sorted out a small leak for us in under five minutes by moving us to another room. He was really friendly and helpful, and the fix was quick and hassle-free. We'd come back from a short outing and dinner just before midnight and found a little puddle in the kitchen. A bathroom hose apparently hadn't been secured properly, so water had dripped out. It seemed like something that could have been fixed by hand, but it hadn't been dealt with. Before that, check-in had gone smoothly, and our room was spotless and in perfect condition.
