A huge thank you to Andre and Lee for such a warm welcome and a fabulous stay in Morocco. I never thought I’d get up on a surfboard so quickly, but Andre taught me really well. We had a fun week riding the waves, and now I appreciate them so much more. I can’t wait to see where the current takes me next! The accommodation was lovely and in a great spot, just a short walk from the beach. Najat, the lovely housekeeper, made delicious food. We also had a yoga teacher join us for a few days, and we practiced on the terrace. If you want a quiet break from the medina madness and some time in the waves, Surf & Soul in Ouladia is the place.

I felt completely at home at surf and soul, and I hope I can return soon. Andre, Lee, and little Teahupoo made my time there wonderful. I spent most of it unwinding on the beautiful terrace, and I slept longer and more deeply than I had in ages. Oualidia is small and quiet, which makes it a lovely place for a surf and yoga retreat. As a beginner, I found the lagoon perfect for learning. Andre is an amazing instructor and so passionate about surfing.

I went to Surf & Soul for a short break in Jan 2020. Andre was a great surf teacher and worked with all abilities. By the end I was catching green waves, which was great. The accommodation was comfortable and relaxing. The roof terrace was the highlight for me, with a lovely spot to watch the sunrise and sunset and gaze at the stars. I’m looking forward to coming back. Thanks, Lee and Andre!

Oualidia is gorgeous and peaceful, and it wasn’t too crowded when I visited. I spent two amazing weeks at Surf and Soul and loved the abundant, great food, the lovely terrace, and the company. Lee and André, the hosts, have such kind hearts. The lagoon is a perfect surf spot for beginners. In January 21, the rest of the shore felt pretty intense for intermediate surfers, though it was excellent for advanced and expert surfers, and you’d be alone at the peak. There’s great seafood, boat rides, and gorgeous walks too. André arranged a PCR test for me in Casablanca, and I got the results in 10 hours. I highly recommend it.

We were there in 2018 and liked it a lot. The place had a genuine, authentic feel and a really nice atmosphere. It gave us a real taste of Morocco and surfing, plus lots of activities we could do together.
