Le Petit Riad

In the morning, he even went out of his way to buy milk for me. The night before, he’d reminded me I could switch on the desk lamp to work. After checking the car, he noticed it wasn’t properly locked and helped me secure it. All of that was so heartwarming!

The service was outstanding, and we’d definitely come back if we get the chance. We slept soundly with no noise disturbance, even though the hotel is directly in front of the airport and our room was close to the pool. We’d worried it might be loud, but it wasn’t. The room was comfortable, with a huge bed that had just the right firmness and lovely decor. The pool area was beautiful, though it was already too cold for us to swim. Breakfast was amazing, especially the delicious little pancakes. Parking is on the street, but a guard watches the entrance and the cars at night, so we felt safe leaving ours there.

The food was amazing, some of the best I had during my time in Morocco. It felt authentic and high end, and I absolutely loved it. The decor and layout were beautiful, with an intimate feel and just a few spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff’s kindness really stood out. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and even let me choose the room I preferred.

This was the best place we stayed on our tour of southern Morocco. We liked Le Petit Riad enough to add three more days to our time in Ouarzazate. The staff take great care of guests and are happy to accommodate special food requests. Both breakfast and dinner are well worth having.
