The Lemonary Marrakech

We chose the Villa with Private Pool and had a wonderful stay. The lovely grounds are peaceful, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and Imad, Hassan, Jamal, and the food service team deserve a special thanks for making our time there special. After a few stays amid Marrakech's hustle and bustle, The Lemonary was a pleasant change outside town. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to relax and get away, perhaps with a trip or two into town. The hotel is wonderfully peaceful, a good fit for anyone who wants to relax without going out. Imad at the front desk also deserves a special mention for welcoming us warmly and being so willing to help during our stay. The location was the main drawback for me. Marrakech is about 40 to 45 minutes away, and the drive is tiring and unpleasant during the day or at night. The restaurant also needs improvement: service was VERY slow, and the food didn't taste as good as we expected.

Jamal, the driver and assistant, made a huge difference. He took us where we needed to go, went out of his way to find things we needed, and stayed patient with our chaotic schedule. He really made us feel like a close friend. Imad and Kaoutar at the concierge desk were friendly and attentive too, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The resort itself was beautiful, with luxurious suites decorated in a traditional Moroccan style with a modern touch. They were clean when we arrived and stayed that way throughout our three-day visit. The grounds were stunning, with walkways lined by Moroccan-style lamps and curtains leading through the lemon tree orchards the resort is named for. There’s a pool with palm trees, sun shades, and loungers. Breakfast and dinner were on par with any four-star restaurant back in Europe. If you want to visit Marrakech but get away from the city's noise and fast pace in the evening, the Lemonary Marrakech is a lovely place to spend your downtime.

Jamal, the shuttle driver, was brilliant and took my friend and me wherever we needed to go for a reasonable price. Imad and Nourya were especially attentive, always quick to help and making me feel welcome and well looked after. The property is beautiful, and although it’s a bit far from the busy city center, I liked having a peaceful place to unwind. I didn't mind the distance at all. A wonderful stay, and hard to beat if you're after a quiet break and excellent service!
