Hotel Darzouhour Apartments

After a day out exploring, we loved unwinding on the rooftop terrace at Riad Zouhour. The views were beautiful, and it was peaceful up there, whether we were having coffee in the morning or watching the sunset. The riad itself has a lovely mix of traditional character and modern comfort, with beautiful, detailed decor that makes it feel warm and inviting. Our room was spotless and well equipped, the food was delicious, and the whole place felt like a calm retreat from the busy city. The staff were wonderful, especially Ibrahim. He made us feel welcome right away, was kind and attentive, and shared helpful recommendations about Marrakech. He was always glad to help. We had a delightful stay and would highly recommend Riad Zouhour. Thanks to Ibrahim and the whole team for making it so memorable.

We spent two nights here with a small tour group, and had dinner at the riad as well. The meal was very good, and breakfast was delicious, with pastries, an omelette, and a particularly tasty tapenade. Our ground-floor room opened off the main courtyard and was spacious and comfortable. We worried about noise, but with the windows shut there wasn’t a problem. The Medina location was convenient and easy to find. There’s also a rooftop terrace with shaded spots that were nice for reading, though the view is limited. Service was friendly and excellent.

We had a wonderful night at Dar Zahour, tucked away in a quiet part of central Rabat. The rooms are spacious and full of traditional character. The riad’s service was especially friendly, really welcoming.

This has been our favorite riad in Morocco so far. The whole place is beautiful and peaceful, and there’s a terrace on the roof. The beds felt a bit firm, though that seems typical for the country. At check-in, the owner offered us coffee, tea, and cookies right away. He’s friendly, speaks a little English, and was patient when we had trouble communicating. Breakfast is included, with a typical Moroccan spread of crepes, croissants, fruit, coffee, tea, and fresh orange juice. Rabat itself is a clean, beautiful city by the Atlantic. I’ll come back on my next trip to Morocco.
