Breakfast was the highlight, with lots to choose from: coffee, milk, tea, several breads and cakes, butter, three jams, olives, homemade yogurt, fresh orange juice, and a big plate of fruit including watermelon, grapes, mango, figs, bananas, and more. The riad was quiet enough that we slept like babies, and the Wi-Fi was decent. Its traditional architecture with a modern touch is beautiful, and there’s a small, nicely decorated terrace. My husband and I stayed in the Hadid room, which was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. One thing to know is the private bathroom only has a partition, not a full door. We were welcomed with mint tea and Moroccan pastries, and both the receptionist and desk attendant were kind and easy to communicate with. The riad is easy to find in the heart of Rabat’s medina, near restaurants, shops, groceries, and pretty much anything you might need. We’d absolutely come back.

The facilities were a high standard, and the location is ideal for the Medina. Said was a great host, smiling and happy to help with all our needs. We’d certainly stay at Riad Dar Soufa again.

The breakfast was really tasty, and the people were kind and very welcoming. It’s a clean, pleasant riad right in the medina. I would have preferred a more modern interior with less traditional styling.

Fadwa greeted us with mint tea and Moroccan pastries and took great care of us. The homemade breakfast was delicious, even the yogurt. The rooms were clean and nicely done, and both the riad and terrace felt quiet and peaceful. From this spot in the old Médina, it’s easy to visit the city’s main landmarks, especially the Kasbah of the Udayas and its beautiful sunset. If you like street food and spicy food, this is a great location. A lovely example of Moroccan hospitality. Definitely coming back. Thank you, Fadwa.

Fadwa was a lovely host, always smiling and ready to help. The riad was beautiful, spotless, and easy to find. Breakfast was the best I had in Morocco, with a great range of breads, fruit, and spreads. I was brought a pitcher of hot milk, too. I’d like to come back.
