Dar Danse the Bubble on the Beach

One of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Julianna, her partner, and the whole team have created a really special experience, and we had a wonderful time here.

Dar Danse Hotel is set right beside the sea, well away from the crowds, and it was a lovely place to slow down and recharge. We spent time at the beautiful pool looking out over the ocean, wandered through the well-kept gardens, and walked along the beach just outside the gate. Even in such a quiet spot, we never felt short of things to do. We were traveling as a small family with our daughter, and the whole team was so attentive and caring that we felt like family ourselves. She especially loved the animals, particularly the friendly dogs she played with in the garden for hours. The fresh regional food was fantastic too, with something delicious and lovingly prepared each day that kept surprising us. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. This little “Bubble on the Beach” is our own bit of paradise, and we’ll definitely come back. Thanks for everything, Julie. See you soon!

We liked it so much that we stayed longer. I’d happily come back for more chess with the owner and another fresh pineapple juice. The dinners were delicious every night, served as a thoughtfully prepared menu that took our dietary preferences into account. The personal care stood out too, from staff remembering our favorite drinks to the owner cheering us on at evening chess. Dar Danse is a peaceful retreat in a wonderfully secluded spot. Our room looked out over the Atlantic, with beautiful views, and having the sea nearby as well as the stunning pool made it feel like paradise.

The view was nice, and that was the one positive I could find. At €300 a night, if looking outside is the only good part of the stay, that tells you what the place is like.
