Riad Tatam House

Moha, the manager, was very friendly and we had a good time with him. He recommended a really beautiful place for Moroccan dinner. The rooms are simple but have what you need, and the location is 10/10 if you want to visit the souks.

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. I promise it’ll be worth it, especially if you’re travelling alone as a woman. I felt unsafe from the moment my friends and I checked in. Every employee here is a creep. The man at the front desk flirted with us and wouldn’t give a straight answer. He also arranged what he called a “free airport shuttle,” then charged us for it later. One day a random man chased us into the riad. When we asked that same front desk man about it, all he said was, “he is the king of riads don’t be afraid”. That felt extremely unprofessional and scary.

The excellent location put us close to everything, and the riad was still quiet enough to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and the whole team made each morning a pleasure. I had a wonderful stay at Riad TaTam House. It was peaceful and welcoming from the moment I arrived, with lovely traditional Moroccan design, comfort, and plenty of charm. Mohamed was especially kind, always available, and clearly cared about making my stay a great experience. His hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend Riad TaTam House to anyone visiting Marrakech. You’ll be in great hands, especially with Mohamed looking after you!

We’ve stayed in a number of Riads and Dars during our trip around Morocco, including in Fese, Essaouir, and Imlil, so we had some comparisons. This was a great choice for our last night in Marrakech, especially at a fair price. The location was great, and the breakfast was nice, with a good, clean table setting. Our room was clean and small, but had enough space. The staff were helpful and even let us leave our luggage until evening because our flight was late.
