The rooftop terrace was really cozy, and we often spent evenings sitting up there. When the weather was nice, breakfast was served on the terrace too. We stayed for five days and had nothing but good experiences. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and markets close by, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Thanks :)

The staff are lovely, but the room really isn't. We arrived to a cold room at 16 degrees. There was one heater, and after 24 hours the temperature was okay. It doesn't seem like a penny has been invested in this guesthouse. The bathroom looks like it's from the 1950s, and the standard is VERY low. Also, there are no keys, so you can't lock the door. The entrance door is like a barn door, as you can see in the pictures. Breakfast was very poor, just sweet Arabian food, syrup and marmalade, with some bread. No cheese or salami. I'm surprised by the other reviews here, they make it sound like a different hotel.

We were there over New Year's Eve, and I proposed to my girlfriend then. The staff helped with all my requests. My fiancée and I loved this charming riad. The rooms are spacious, the rooftop is lovely, and breakfast was just right and delicious. The staff were so helpful and charming. I'd recommend this Riad 100%.

We were the only guests because tourism was slow due to covid, and Moustapha came to get us from the taxi drop-off. The riad isn't easy to find, but he made us feel at home right away. Dar Touyir was cosy and quiet, with a nice rooftop and a great breakfast. Thanks to Mustapha and the staff for being such wonderful hosts! Best wishes, Rémy & Melanie
