Riad Aloes

The courtyard garden and retractable roof made breakfast a lovely part of our stay, and the open shower was great. My brother and I found the room cozy and the beds comfortable. The owners were so kind and welcoming during our first few days in the city. I’d recommend Riad Aloes, especially for a first visit to Marrakech.

The bedrooms were super comfy, and the beautiful place gave us a real Moroccan feel. We had good breakfasts, too. The service was amazing, always helpful and smiling. A great spot right in the middle of La Medina. I’d definitely recommend it!

That rooftop terrace was a welcome quiet spot amid Marrakechs chaos. The riad is right in the center, so we walked everywhere, yet the side alley location was calm enough to relax. It’s a really beautiful building, and breakfast was fine; everything seemed clean enough. Just be aware that, as is typical for a riad, the windows all face the inner courtyard. Fresh air can be hard to get into the room, and you may hear guests talking outside, especially if you’re on the ground floor. Our windows didn’t close perfectly, which didn’t help.

They even emailed the day before to ask what we’d like to eat when we arrived late that evening. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous. This is a welcoming, small Riad, near the city walls and still close to the main square. There’s a relaxing pool inside and a good view from the roof terrace.
