The staff bent over backwards to help, including mailing my postcards without charging me. I've stayed at plenty of 5 Star hotels that wouldn't do that, and to me those small things count. Our room at the top of the Riad was clean and nicely decorated, with a deck and a great view of the ocean and Rabat. It had air conditioning, though some rooms apparently didn't. The place felt quaint and beautiful. There was some wear and tear, which I thought added to its authenticity, and I spotted a few ants in the toilette, but neither changed my solid four-star impression. Location was great too: seconds from the Rabat Medina, minutes from the beach and blue khasba, and a 20-minute walk to Hassan tower and Mohammed V mausoleum. I'd definitely recommend it.

Riad Senso is in a very convenient spot, with the Kasbah of the Udayas and Medinas/Souks about a two-minute walk away, Chellah five minutes by taxi, and the Train Station a 15-minute walk. Reception staff were personable and attentive when we arrived and when we left, and we were very pleased with them.

The room had a cute, unusual layout. I did find it odd that the toilet had no door or curtain, though. People passing by could probably see me, since I could see them. Still cute otherwise :)

The rooftop is really lovely, and everything was clean. It can be a little hard to find, though I suppose that's part of the medina's charm. The staff are very friendly.

The hotel is close to the tourist attractions, and the rooms were always clean. The food was tasty too. Staff were friendly and ready to help whenever needed.
