Ahmed was there waiting when we arrived quite late, ready to welcome us and explain everything. He and his colleague were incredibly kind, and the service was amazing. We loved the location, and breakfast was the best. Thanks so much for everything. Definitely a must stay in Rabat! 💯

From the balcony there's a fantastic view of the city and beach. Getting over to Rabat is easy by taxi, or with a 15-minute walk and a short tram ride. I spent two nights here and had a great stay. The owner is so hospitable and makes you feel at home straight away. If you're lucky, you might also meet his cute granddaughter. The rooms are comfortable, and even in summer, we were fine with the windows open despite there being no Aircon.

The hotel sits in a historic part of town, among old walkways and fortifications. Locals told me these were once used by the Barbary Pirates. The nearby beaches are an easy walk away, with clear-water marinas for less confident swimmers that open out to the greater Atlantic for stronger ones. Restaurants and cafés with pleasant patios line the beach nearby. I loved the old-world feel of this bed and breakfast, with its mosaic-covered surfaces, atrium-centered layout, and high-roofed rooms. This part of Salé felt just as safe as the newer areas, without the snobbish feel some of them have.

Ahmed and his daughter were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us enthusiastically and went well beyond what we expected to make us comfortable, so our time in Salé/Rabat felt like staying in a second home. Their riad is beautiful, with coloured tiles, decorations, and an interior garden. Our room was very spacious and had all the essentials: hairdryer, towels, soap, hot water, internet, a comfortable bed, and breakfast. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so reserve dinner in advance to avoid disappointment that night. The river and beach are within walking or driving distance, and the spot gives you a lovely view of Rabat from the north at night. We highly recommend it.

Dar Jabador is a wonderful, quiet place to stay, and getting around was easy. The Riad is a historic 250 years old building. The room was huge, and though there was no air conditioning, it stayed cool at night. The owner and family were friendly and attentive, and we felt like we were staying at a cousin's house. Recommended.
