The woman who runs the hotel is super nice, and the other staff are great, friendly, and full of useful information. The food is nice too. The rooms are a bit small and the bathroom is tight, though it has an interesting feel. It’s a little way from the city center, but after the first day I didn’t mind walking and found it interesting. I think I’d stay there again.

The food I had there was delicious, home-cooked, and served with excellent service. I sprained my ankle and was stuck in bed for a while during the visit, and the team looked after me and brought ice packs.

We especially enjoyed how easy it was to reach so many of the city's must-see places on foot, while staying in an old Marrakech neighborhood. We spent most days walking through the area on our way to different sights. We stayed during the first weeks under new management in November '24, and had a really good visit. The riad is beautiful and very clean, with modern conveniences, and it dates back in some form to the 12th century as an extension of the Palace across the road. Breakfasts were generous, varied, often based on local food, and always delicious. They also cooked tajines and couscous for us at very reasonable prices. We could eat on the roof terrace and watch the sunset. The on-site hammam was fabulous, and the massage afterward was bliss. The team gave us lots of suggestions and could book outings to the desert, nearby towns, and the Atlas Mountains. When we didn’t feel like walking, we could easily arrange a taxi from the riad. We’ll absolutely return!

Aziz was a fantastic host and concierge, easy to talk to, friendly, and helpful. The rest of the staff were great as well. They washed and ironed our clothes without us even asking, and everything came back looking like new. A very good place to stay.
