The photos made the whole riad look much better than it felt in person. Inside, there was very little sound separation: no proper door, just a window-like door, and only a curtain for the WC. Around 16:00, the woman at reception, who I think may have been the owner, talked and laughed loudly with the cook. We asked them to keep it down; they apologized but carried on, and we could hear it all from our room. Finding the place was difficult because the map pin seemed to be somewhere else. I called for help, but nobody came, so we paid a man in the street to lead us there. They greeted us warmly once we arrived. Later, they called to say lunch was ready 30-40 minutes after I'd called, even though I hadn't asked them to prepare anything, then charged us for it and water we hadn't requested. During our five days there, they changed the body towels just once, and never changed the sheets. I've travelled a lot, and this was one of my worst stays.

We slept really well: the area was quiet at night, even though the riad is near the tourist sights. The room had air conditioning, and ours had a gorgeous rooftop camera. It was spacious and clean, with everything we needed in the bathroom, including a hair dryer. Breakfast was generous, and the staff were so friendly, polite and smiley. The location is adorable, and I was impressed by all the thoughtful details. I recommend this Riad, loved it!

The hosts were helpful with our questions and suggestions for the city, and we felt safe in the neighborhood after dark. They arranged our airport pickup, and even served us a delicious dinner when we got in late. Meals were brought when it suited us. Our room was clean and well looked after. The shower pressure dipped at night, though it was good in the morning and during the day. We had a very nice stay.

Our room was bright and lovely, and the hosts were welcoming, helpful, and knew their way around our plans. The riad is close to the Medina and city center, but the spot itself is peaceful. We enjoyed the local breakfast and a good-value tajine dinner. Highly recommended, and many thanks!

The breakfast was delicious and included, and the mint tea they offered was the best I've ever tasted. Staff paid close attention to what we wanted from the trip and helped arrange our morning transfer. We had fast, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, plenty of outlets, and a roomy shower. Everything was clean and nicely decorated, including the room and facilities. The little pool and rooftop were lovely too. From here it was around a 10-15 minute walk to the main square, with shops, restaurants and other stores nearby. I'd definitely stay here again. The photos show what we experienced.
