Riad Mazaya

We were so glad we chose this riad. It’s quiet but still really close to everything, and the place itself is beautiful. The staff are very friendly. We had an amazing four-night stay and would definitely come back here if we return to Marrakech.

Clement and Nathalie were so helpful on WhatsApp, sorting out arrival times, transfers, pickup, meals, and tips for attractions. I got the last available room after finding Riad Mazaya through Google Maps and its 4.9 out of 5 rating. The reviews convinced me it was the right place. I asked about a sunrise hot air balloon ride, and Clement arranged it and made sure I’d be picked up. Khalid met me after my transfer, organized a meal for my arrival, and got me to the balloon pickup point at 5am. I managed to cover a lot of ground and see many of the main attractions over a few days. The city is very walkable, and the Riad is a few minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the center of things. It sits up a quiet cul de sac, so I slept easily. The Riad itself was immaculately kept and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend using it as a base for a few days in Marrakech. The owner was thoughtful and attentive, even texting us before the trip. We were lucky to check in early after our morning hot air balloon trip because we were so tired. It’s been a month since our stay, and this is still the best Riad I’ve stayed in during my whole Marrakesh trip. We had the vanilla suite, which was huge and clean, with a modern feel and classic Moroccan style. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely, and the owner shared a few recommendations for tourist spots only locals know. They also had the cutest pet dog. Please book this Riad for your next Marrakesh trip!

Nathalie and Clement, the French owners, made everything feel easy and welcoming. They arranged airport pickup, spoke a few languages, and offered directions, suggestions, and great tour recommendations. The staff are lovely, and the riad is clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast on the outside terrace was delicious, and the AC was very cool. The place is tucked a few streets behind the busy chaos and charm of the Medina, so you get some quiet while staying close to the action. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it!
