You can arrange airport transfers for both arrival and departure, which is handy. The villa sits outside the Marrakech Medina, with the Atlas Mountains close by as another place to explore. Bab Louka Maison d'hotes has a pool, comfortable rooms, and good food. I especially recommend the hostess "Tajine", a chicken dish cooked in the Moroccan style. Along the road there are interesting crafts, from metalwork to clay pieces, that can add something memorable to a holiday.

The food was fresh and so good that we tried everything on the menu. The bedding was excellent, the place spotless, and housekeeping came every day, even adding thoughtful touches like rose petals. We were frustrated when an Expedia mistake had us expecting a guesthouse in central Marrakech, only to find it was 20 km away. Still, the welcome was warm and friendly, the value was excellent, and the staff were very pleasant. We tried the traditional hammam and found it a lovely surprise, though the massage didn't convince us. The owners can arrange excursions or a ride into Marrakech. A young woman makes and sells airlocks in the dining room. We got her very first ones, and six months later the quality was still just as good. A nice change from the souk. Thank you for everything. A really pleasant place to stay and get away from the stress of the city, right in the Berber countryside.
