Palais Ghiat

We came for our annual family holiday with 37 people, and Lahcen’s service made the stay especially memorable. He was kind, always smiling, and happy to help however often we asked. Our kids loved spending time with him. He never seemed to tire of chatting or playing with them, and by the time we left he felt like part of the family. Saying goodbye was bittersweet. There was a short power cut, but Lahcen and Anas dealt with it quickly and gave us breakfast for free, even though the problem wasn’t their fault. The whole family had a wonderful stay.

It was quiet and calm, with more peacocks around than staff or guests. The pool was nice, parking was free, and the staff were pleasant. The place looks fairly new and was reasonably clean, though we visited in the low season, so perhaps upkeep was less frequent. The food was a total disaster. Bring your own if you want to enjoy your stay.

The Tajins were so delicious, and Lamia and the team gave top-notch service. I felt thoroughly pampered at Palais Ghiat and can’t wait to return.

After disappointing stays in Fes and Rabat, I wasn’t sure what to expect at Palais Ghiat, but we fell for the place as soon as we arrived. It’s quiet, secluded, and very relaxing, with beautiful architecture and interior design. Our room was spacious, and the bath was unique and cool. Aissam was amazing. He helped us so much, drove us to the city center so we could leave our car, and picked us up after our day trip. He was the kindest, most genuine and helpful person we met in Morocco. Our time at the hotel made the whole Morocco experience more enjoyable and relaxing.
