Auberge Kasbah Tiriguioute

We wished we could stay longer. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, the host was so kind, and breakfast was tasty. This was the best accommodation we visited in Morocco, and it looks even better than the photos on Booking. An ideal stop when travelling to Merzouga.

We didn’t stay long enough to make use of the pool or all the facilities, so we’ll have to come back. The children had their own separate sleeping area, and our room was simple but full of character with everything we needed. Breakfast was really good, a nicer version of the kind we’d had elsewhere: fresh orange juice, fruit salad with pomegranates from the garden, a fried egg, pancakes, pastries, and more. There’s a surprisingly big garden at the back, full of trees with heavy pomegranates in October. Such a peaceful green escape from the dust and heat.

This was easily a five out of five stay for us. You don’t expect such a lovely green oasis when you drive in through the gate. The staff were friendly and helpful, and asked what we wanted for dinner. Definitely order it, the chicken tagine with fruit from their own garden was great. We ate in Skoura city too, but it was a bit disappointing next to the kasbah’s food. There’s a pool for a nice dip, and the gardens are big enough for a little walk. They even have chickens and goats. Our room had AC, and the beds were soft and really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. Best stay we’ve had in Marokko so far.

We felt completely at ease at Kasbah Tiriguioute in Skoura. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome with how kind they were. The food was delicious, too. It’s a beautiful kasbah with a peaceful feel, a lovely place to unwind and get an authentic Moroccan experience. Highly recommend it.
