We had a tasty breakfast of Berber eggs cooked in a tagine, and the room had a clean en-suite with a hot shower. It was small, but very comfortable. From our balcony we watched the sun set over views of the Atlas Mountains. This old Kasbah has been restored in an eco-friendly way, with mud and straw in the walls to help keep it cool. There’s air conditioning too. We spent one night here on the way to the desert after our guide, Ibrahim from Morocco local guide, brought us. Najat gave us a lovely welcome and made a beautiful traditional dinner.

You can even spot palm doves from the Terrasse if you’re into birds. This was the most authentic, beautiful, welcoming, and delicious place we stayed during our 14 days travelling Marocco. Such a hidden gem in the palmery. Thanks for such a lovely experience!

The woman who runs the place is amazing, and the food is really good. Such a nice hotel, definitely recommended. If you’re driving by, stop in.

We slept really well on the comfortable bedding. The building feels grand and historic, and it sits in a quiet spot by the river with beautiful palms all around.

I've been back 4 or 5 times, and it feels like a second home. This restored Kasbah is a quiet Riverside oasis village, tucked a couple of miles off the main road. You get a warm Moroccan welcome along with all the modern amenities.
