The host was so warm and kind, which made the stay feel extra special. We slept comfortably and had a really good meal. It turned out even better than I expected. Highly recommend it!

Samir was thoughtful and always ready to help, and breakfast was lovely. We got to wander through villages, visit local markets, climb up to the Granerie, and stop for tea along the way. The views from the Kasbah and on the drive there were unbelievable. Staying in an original Kasbah was one of the highlights of our trip, and the accommodation was good.

The staff looked after us so well, and we felt comfortable and warmly welcomed. It was a calm, peaceful stay in the kasbah. Special thanks to Mr. Samir and the cook for all their hard work.

I’ve been coming to the kasbah for a few years because it’s one of the prettiest places to stay in ait bougmez. Its spot right in the middle of the valley is unique, with breathtaking views all around. But the service was poor. The hostess seemed to be trying her best, yet we felt unwelcome when she wouldn’t let us use the shared spaces, and uncomfortable with her following us around. The rooms were really cold, the heating didn’t work, and we weren’t allowed more than one extra blanket. The valley’s beauty and the long hikes helped make up for it, and Aïssa was a wonderful guide and cook.

A lovely view, and the place is comfy, cosy and the food tastes good. It’s a really laid-back spot tucked away in the mountains. Don’t miss the gorge nearby or café vivante, which makes a great stop in a local community.
