The rooms were clean and the garden was beautiful, but I was really disappointed by a meal covered in mosquitoes. They didn’t offer anything else or try to fix it, and still asked me to pay. For the quality, it’s also very expensive compared with other hostels in the region. There’s no signal, internet, or Wi-Fi at the hostel either.

A fantastic place to see for yourself, it really feels like a little piece of earth worth discovering.

The guesthouse sits in the middle of a fruit orchard. Downstairs there’s a double living room for guests and meals, with five bedrooms upstairs. Four rooms share just two showers and two toilets, and one toilet had a broken flush. There wasn’t any toilet paper either. Breakfast was very basic, all packaged: bread, margarine, jam, Laughing Cow cheese, tea and Nescafé. Nothing local or homemade was offered. The owner, "Rachid," also refused to serve tea without sugar, saying, "that's how it's served to Europeans." His welcome felt unprofessional. At times, we felt as if we were in his home and had to follow his terms instead of being treated as guests. The atmosphere was so cold and unpleasant that we left the next morning. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially with another, much more welcoming place offering better value just 400 meters away.
