The setting is fascinating, and the hotel is right in the center. The staff were incredible and friendly, even arranging a birthday cake. It’s a wonderful base for exploring the oasis palm forests and strange rock formations. You feel a long way from the 21st century. Think Harry Potter meets Lord of the Rings, with people-watching enough to keep you busy all day!

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The compact rooms were spotless, nicely decorated, and had comfortable beds and air-conditioning that heated well. Ours also had a small balcony overlooking the bazaar. The location is central, right by the Souk, with several places to eat within walking distance. There was hot water, though the shower pressure wasn’t strong. WiFi was a bit weak and didn’t always reach our room at the far end of the corridor. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
