Kiwi Surf Hostel

Yassine made each surf session fun and brought great energy. He’s a skilled, motivating teacher, and was really patient with us. Yahya was just as professional and kind, and made the lessons enjoyable too. They both speak several languages, which helped make the school feel welcoming to people from different places. I learned a lot and had a great time in the water. I’d recommend the surf school to anyone coming to the area.

My Surf Hostel was clean and comfortable, with a great atmosphere and a perfect location. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and always checked that I had what I needed. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

The food was delicious, and the spot made it easy to get around Taghazout quickly. The people were caring and friendly. Booking the hostel together with Zakarias surf camp and yoga gave us a great experience. Ayoub and Habib took care of everything, and instructors Yahya and Oussama made the surfing especially memorable. 5/5!

We were told our twin room was not ready when we arrived, and ended up waiting until late evening. We’d booked the surfing and yoga package with the room, but were put in a separate building that didn’t match the quality shown in the photos. They offered us a double room with just one cover. There was also a large patch of fungus on the ceiling and wall. The surfing groups were meant to have one coach for every four people. Instead, there were about 30 students from two hostels and only four coaches. Meals were late most of the time, and after a few days the corridors and shared area stopped being cleaned. When we reported these problems, we were dismissed from the hostel before our stay was due to end and told to check out that same day. I really don’t recommend staying here.
