The night porter was kind enough to offer us some water, but in a luxury hotel it felt inappropriate to have to drink from his personal bottle when we were thirsty. And despite what the response says, there was no night staff apart from him, watching who came and went. The meal in question was a poolside snack on December 30, not New Year's Eve dinner. We paid €12 for a tagine and €9 for a sandwich. For the quality, those prices were still high, and comparing the service with major chains makes no sense, since their service is far better. The room rate was also well above what the market offers. I meant the overall service when I called your “palace” overpriced. I’m replying here because Booking.com doesn’t let customers respond to an establishment’s review. Please read my original review. It’s disappointing to see such bad faith and false claims in your response. You’ve said you’d only been open five months, so it’s a shame you didn’t accept the criticism and say you’d try to improve.

Preparations for a children's birthday party at the property woke us on our departure day. The noise from the slide and equipment being brought in took away the charm and peaceful feeling of the place.

The rooms and lounges are decorated beautifully, and the rooms feel fit for a palace. Staff are dedicated and welcoming, too. Set between Marrakech and Lake Takerkoust with the Atlas Mountains in front of you, the place feels wonderfully far removed from everyday life. If you want to rest, this is an ideal spot.
