The villa itself was amazing, well made, close to nature, and with enough parking. We stayed from 9th March till 13th March. It’s about 30 minutes from Marrakech city centre and a little way in from the main highway, but sign boards pointing to the villa made it easy to find. Abdel, the manager, was top class: very helpful, friendly, and ready to help my person. The staff and team get 100/10 from me. The dogs at the villa were the best part, very friendly, and we really loved them. Our room was quite spacious and clean. It was a bit cold, but setting the AC to 31 made it very comfortable. The bathrooms get 2.5/5 for two reasons: the hot water tank, when asked, was just 12 litres, and the water flow was too slow. After flushing, we had to wait 5-7 minutes for the tank to fill again. I wouldn’t expect that from a 4.5* hotel. It was an amazing stay overall, but the bathrooms bring my rating down to 4 out of 5 stars.

We visited in winter and found the experience a bit below expectations. The bungalows weren’t well insulated, so the rooms and bathrooms felt very cold even with heated air con. The Wi-Fi in our bungalow was very poor and still wasn’t fixed after we reported it. Some maintenance issues also weren’t dealt with promptly. Staff were polite but not very responsive, and it was disappointing that problems only got addressed when our older Moroccan friends stepped in. The villa is nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and a peaceful setting about 30 minutes’ drive from Marrakesh. Breakfast was very tasty, and with the pools and air conditioning, I imagine it would be beautiful in summer. This place seems better suited to warmer months and guests with their own car. I wouldn’t recommend it for a winter stay or if you expect proactive service. They quoted us 25 euros for a taxi, but we easily found InDrive taxis for 150-200 MAD to the centre.

The lodge for two was really comfortable, and the whole place felt unlike anywhere else. There are two pools, and Marco was a great host, with staff always ready to help. Marrakech is about a 30-minute drive, while Ourika Valley took us around an hour and a half to reach. We’d definitely consider coming back. Thanks so much.

We came away feeling like we’d been welcomed into the owners’ family. My daughter, our dog, and I were looking for somewhere to unwind, and this was just right. It’s very clean, the service is top-notch, and everyone is so friendly. The huge outdoor spaces meant our dog had a wonderful time too. Thanks to all the boys for making our stay so comfortable. We’ll be back.

This place is very remote, so I’d recommend arranging transfers and tours ahead of time. Once there, though, I loved the wide open space and the clean pools. Our host has a lot of character and brings Italian charm to both the hospitality and the kitchen. We had a fantastic BBQ and paella, and there was always a vegetarian choice. The rooms are fine, but the walls are thin and you may hear some pretty loud nature sounds.
