I’ve never posted a bad review before, but this was the worst experience I’ve had with a riad. We’d paid Booking.com for two nights and arrived around 8 pm, only to be told they couldn’t find our reservation. After asking us to wait an hour, they said we had to pay again, despite seeing our payment proof and the Booking.com reservation and confirmation. They wouldn’t try to sort it out with the platform, so we ended up looking for another hotel in the middle of the night. Nothing like this had happened to us before. It was really upsetting and frustrating.
