The location makes it easy to explore the medina, and breakfast is delicious and served with care. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated with an authentic Moroccan feel. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help. For me and my travelers, Riad La Perle de la Médina has always been a wonderful place to stay and delivered an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Built in 1889, Riad La Perle De La Médina is a remarkable historic property and the most beautiful riad we’ve ever stayed in. It feels like stepping back in time, while still balancing comfort and elegance. The craftsmanship and carved windows are stunning, and every detail seems carefully preserved. There’s so much history in every corner. Staying here felt like a privilege, and the experience was unforgettable. It’s a magical place that kept surprising and inspiring us.

The riad’s proximity to the Medina made exploring Fes easy and enjoyable. The manager, Omar, was another major positive. Once he understood our concerns, he checked in consistently, listened closely, and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. His professionalism, care, and sincere effort to make things right had a real impact on our time there. Our stay did have challenges, and it seemed Omar was often making up for wider operational gaps. His hard work deserves recognition and institutional support. With better systems and more support, his commitment and ability could be put to even better use. We noticed and sincerely appreciate his efforts.

The walls carry sound, but it gets quiet after about 10 p.m. We stayed for two nights at Riad La Perla and got excellent service from all the staff. Our large room was comfortable, with the double bed we’d asked for, and a split-duct unit to control the temperature. Breakfast upstairs on the top floor was ample.

The staff were so kind and accommodating. At 11pm, they even printed my boarding pass for me. I stayed in the Rabat room, which had a jacuzzi, built-in wooden cabinets, a flat-screen TV, and a fridge. The plaster and tilework was incredible, as you can see in several of my review photos. Meals were excellent, both breakfast and dinner. La Perle is a beautiful riad at the end of its own street, tucked behind large wooden doors. Inside, there’s a gorgeous fountain courtyard where staff welcomed me with mint tea and cookies. Staying in a riad is a must when you’re in Morocco, and this one is a great example. It’s nicely located in Fes.
