Driss was great throughout our stay. He arranged a transfer from the train station, gave us useful recommendations for the Medina, and even bought me an outlet adapter when I didn't have the exact change. The location is ideal, close to good food and with easy access in and out of the Medina. Great value.

Mohamed helped us get around Fes, arranging a taxi tour one day and a Medina walking tour the next. He'd walk with us to shops, restaurants, or an ATM until we felt comfortable finding our own way. Everyone was incredibly friendly. We arrived around school dismissal, and a group of children ran and jumped around us, shouting, "Welcome to Fez, Welcome to Morocco." The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms modern, and breakfast was great, with coffee or tea, fresh orange juice, pastries, and a hard-boiled egg. We felt comfortable bargaining with shop owners and never felt swindled. Loved this place!

The manager was kind and quick to help. When my back started hurting on the last day, he moved us to a bigger, more convenient GF room and went out to get medicine and water. I recovered quickly enough to continue my desert trip, and I'm grateful for his help. He'd also arranged for a colleague to carry our luggage up and down, which made a difference since our assigned top-floor room was inconvenient for older travelers. I was moved here by the booked riad the day before my trip because it had roof water seepage. The location was convenient for most sights in the Fes Medina, and I could watch the stars and take star treks photos each night.

The owner and door keeper were both genuinely kind and hospitable, and breakfast was included. They also offer laundry service. My friend and I found the riad beautifully designed and right in the heart of the old city. It was an excellent choice for our stay in Fes, and I'd book here again when I return.
