Riad El Yacout

The staff treated us like family and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Hisham and Marcos were especially helpful, and I was warmly greeted each morning. The riad is close to a main entrance to the old medina, which made exploring easy. The space is stunning to look at and comfortable, though the courtyard is open to the air, so rooms can get cold at night. The showers also take a while to warm up in this old building. We didn't get to try dinner, but breakfast was generous, with pastries and fruit, plus eggs cooked perfectly when requested. A great place if you're spending a few days in Fes.

I liked the intimate size of this riad, and the pool was refreshing. The breakfast was continental and served family style. Marcus and the team work hard to make your stay seamless. It feels like a tribute to bringing the 4th century into the present. Look up the recording video of U2 "Magnificent".

Marcos and the owner's son, Abdul, made the stay memorable with a warm welcome and attentive service. The owner spent five years renovating this remarkable home, and you can see the care in every corner, with its heritage respected alongside modern comforts. Riad El Yacout is a beautifully restored old family house dating back to 1347. The spacious rooms have authentic Moroccan decor and striking crafted ceilings that feel like another era. We also had a lovely dinner with traditional music and dance, which added to the atmosphere. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting a special way to experience Morocco.
