We had a good weekend away and would gladly come back. The riad is tucked away in an authentic neighborhood near a mosque, though we didn't hear the call to prayer. It has a lovely rooftop terrace with beautiful views, and breakfast is served in the beautiful lounge downstairs. Before we arrived, Abdul Junior got in touch to ask if we needed help and explain the options. We had a few misunderstandings because of the language, but he was friendly and helpful. On our first morning we took a walking tour of the medina with Abdul, who is a different person from Abdul Junior. We highly recommend him as a guide. The tour was a great introduction to Fes and gave us confidence to explore on our own.

We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace, especially for tea at sunset. The riad is beautiful, close to a main street but still very quiet. The staff were friendly, and Abdul was particularly helpful and hardworking. I'd highly recommend staying here in Fes.
