The garden was one of my favorite parts, big and lively, with fruit trees, plants, turtles, a dog, and cats. Everyone on staff was so kind and welcoming, and dinner here is well worth having: everything was fresh and locally sourced. Breakfast was good too, although I did miss having eggs. The beds could have been more comfortable. We only had one night at this riad and immediately wished we could stay longer. Such a lovely break from busy Marrakech, and I’d happily come back.

After the hectic days in Marrakesh, this was just the kind of restful stay we needed. Dinner was so fresh and tasty, and they even showed us where the vegetables were grown. The gardens were beautifully kept, and the fountain made it easy to relax straight away. After dinner they lit a fire so we could sit comfortably, and the service was exceptional. Thank you for making us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and for sharing the family history of the riad. A lovely place for peace, quiet, good food, and thoughtful service.

We got a tour of the vegetable garden and met the donkeys, horses, dogs, and cats. The garden and pool make this feel like a peaceful oasis out in the desert, and we’ll return. It’s a family-run riad with beautiful, calm surroundings and outstanding staff who were friendly and hospitable. The food was amazing, and they catered well for our group, with three of the four of us being vegetarian. It made a relaxing change from Marrakech, and we came away recharged. The short 30-minute trip out of town is worth it.

Staying in this beautiful riad was a favorite part of the trip. It has a rich history, and the experience felt authentically Moroccan. The food was amazing, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was just right, and dinner had an authentic feel. The rooms are fantastic, and the host is a great guy. A hidden gem, simply perfect. I’d recommend having a car for getting to Marrakesh and exploring the area around Ourika.
