The hotel's gym is the best one I've ever seen at a hotel, and the grounds are so nice that I found myself wanting to stay in and enjoy them instead of heading out to see the sights. I posted a full YouTube video of the hotel and vlogged it for my channels TipsNNTricks and BensbergFilms. I booked through Expedia in the United States before arriving and got a killer rate for two nights. I wish I'd stayed longer, though I also wanted some time in Tagazout. Next time, I could easily spend a week or more here. My only bad moment was a small room mix-up at check-in. The woman at the front desk was friendly, I showed her my confirmation for an ocean view room, and she fixed it quickly. Luckily, the room I'd originally booked was still available. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. The room came with complimentary water, Coke, Sprite, snacks, chips, and espresso pods. There's also a Marshall speaker. The balcony was beautiful, with an ocean view stretching down to Tagazout. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've seen for healthy options. My Expedia rate included breakfast and the coffee bar during breakfast hours, but not dinner. Dinner was budget friendly and had good healthy options. I wanted to cook healthy food in my own kitchen, which is why I didn't stay longer. Two young men worked there, and both were friendly. I don't know the coffee bar worker's name, but he was incredible and should be promoted to manager. He went out of his way to make people feel welcome, had a big smile, spoke perfect English, and made me excellent flat whites and Americanos both mornings. I noticed another American couple thanking him too. There are plenty of places to spread out at breakfast, including outdoor tables under the patio where you can work, sip coffee, or eat. I had breakfast on my balcony both mornings, overlooking the ocean, and it was incredible. They had fresh juice and everything was very well organized. The rooftop terrace wasn't quite finished yet, but still had beautiful 360-degree views. The spa area's opening hours could be better. It has a cold plunge, sauna, Moroccan hammam steam room, and a chill-out pool. The outdoor pool isn't heated, but still feels really good. This is a bougie boutique hotel down to the details, like the key card made of what looked like walnut or bamboo. They let me keep it as a souvenir. The rooms have AC, which I ran both nights even in April. The weather in mid-April was beautiful. You may see the owner around with his dog, so ask him if you have questions. When I was staying at another Airbnb, I came back to use the gym. It costs 150 Durham per day and doesn't include spa access, but they let me in because I'd stayed there before. I asked the owner what a monthly gym membership would cost for someone renting an apartment in town, and he said 150 US dollars a month. I think that's a little overpriced, even though it's an incredible gym. There is a filtered water machine by the pool, which I used to refill my bottles so I didn't need to buy more water. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased.

Richie, the owner, is around nearly every day and happy to answer questions or offer tips. He also runs the surf school at the beach, and there's a shuttle straight to the southern beach. If you want to surf or take lessons, it's all well connected. The hotel feels peaceful and comfortable, with a huge pool and calm rooms that are great after a day in the water. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are super friendly, and the gym is next level, the biggest and best-equipped hotel gym I've ever seen. It's a stylish boutique hotel in the quiet surf town of Tamraght, and you can see the care in all the details, from the design to the fresh, tasty food and nice presentation. It just feels good here and makes you want to stay longer.

We came to surf but wanted privacy, room to train, and somewhere comfortable to chill by the pool or spend a day to ourselves, instead of the hostel feel of many surf camps. This place ticked all those boxes, and I'm really glad we stayed here rather than in Agadir. The hotel is at the top of Tamraght. The roads are bumpy, but that adds to the adventure. It took us about 40 minutes to walk to Devil's Rock for surfing, or a taxi is around 10 minutes and £5. There are plenty of coffee shops within a 10-minute walk, plus a great Hamam Spa only five minutes away. We visited Tagazout, about 20 minutes up the road, and Agadir too. If you want a relaxed feel away from crowds of tourists, this is ideal. The rooms were great, with comfortable beds, good cleaning, and a lovely balcony view of the coastline. Breakfast was included and had everything we needed, including fresh omelettes, good coffee, and plenty of sweet and savory treats. The gym was very well equipped, probably one of the best hotel gyms I've seen. The pool and surrounding beds were extremely nice and comfortable, and it was a great suntrap. Staff were very friendly. One thing that could be improved is the cocktail mixing. The taste and alcohol levels seemed to vary too much from one drink to the next, so we switched to wine or beer.

The staff were very nice, the food delicious, and the new rooms modern. But the surf equipment was poor, so if you want to improve your skills, go elsewhere. Board rental, yoga, and everything else cost extra. The sauna wasn't working because of an electricity issue.
