My stay at Hotel Star Appart in Tangier left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. I’d mistakenly booked for one adult instead of two. Reception didn’t catch the error, let me check in, and gave me a receipt for a two-bedroom apartment. I then offered, in good faith, to take a one-bedroom unit so they could resell the larger one, and the receptionist appreciated the gesture. Later, the manager and owner suddenly asked for another 200 MAD for the extra person. I explained it was a simple booking mistake and offered to cancel, but they refused and insisted I pay. After a long, unpleasant discussion, I paid 130 MAD just to end the argument. They should have appreciated my honesty and willingness to help. Instead, I felt scammed and treated unfairly. I found the staff and owner unprofessional and hypocritical, and I don’t recommend this hotel. They showed no integrity or respect for their guests.

The apartment was uncomfortable from the start. There was a bad smell, the beds were extremely dirty, and street noise came through clearly. We had booked three bedrooms and a living room, but there was just one bathroom, and its water leaked into the living area. It was very hot outside, yet none of the bedrooms had air conditioning. The receptionist hadn't told us about that before we arrived, and still required full payment upfront. I stayed at Hôtel Appart Star in Tangier two weeks ago, and I wouldn't try it again. One star from me.

I had a bad experience at the restaurant. The service was unkind, the food quality was low, and the prices were high. I wouldn't recommend it to foreigners.

The location was a little noisy, but we had a good view and I got to watch an awesome sunrise from my room. The price was perfect, too. We found what we needed: a big, clean place with a parking garage, large bedrooms, a balcony, and a swimming pool on the terrace. The service was good, and the stay was a really nice experience. Thank you!
