Barceló Tanger

The breakfast had a good range of high-quality choices for different tastes, and the clean, well-kept rooms had a beautiful sea view that made the atmosphere relaxing. We didn’t get to try the spa or fitness center, though it’s a plus that the hotel has both. Many thanks to the whole staff for their kindness, professionalism, and attentive care, which made our stay at Barceló Tanger feel magical. We’d happily return and recommend it.

I’m still at the hotel as I write this, and I’ve been waiting more than three hours for water that hasn’t arrived. Earlier, when I politely called to ask for water, I was redirected to another number. No one answered that number, and a simple bottle of mineral water took two hours, or never showed up at all. That’s unacceptable, and the service has completely ruined the stay. The property itself is beautiful, in an excellent location, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But the service doesn’t match the hotel’s quality, and is essentially nonexistent. As a manager, my constructive suggestion is that the management urgently bring in experienced staff who understand basic hospitality standards. I can’t recommend this hotel because of the service.

I tried several times to reach you during an urgent situation, but each call sent me to an automated response. Guests need to be able to contact you in an emergency. Please make phone support easier to reach. This service is very disappointing, and I can’t recommend it.

The 10th-floor bar is a fun place for an evening, with live singers and great views. A sea-view room is a great choice, and the location is perfect. Thanks to Chaima and the rest of the staff.
